The National U/21 Championships resume this Friday evening with 21 semi finals at the National Stadium in Dublin.
Friday's last eight deciders get underway with a flyweight clash between Ceire Smith and Sarah McLoughlin followed by 20 male semi finals.
Defending champions Stephen O'Reilly and Danny Coughlan will both be in action along with AIBA World Youth champion Ray Moylette.
Jamie Long and Patrick O'Shea of the Sunnyside club in Cork will fly the flag for Munster.
Commentating on the weekend's bouts, Sunnyside Secretary and coach Kieran Joyce (pictured), a two times Irish Olympian and six time Irish Senior champion, said they were looking forward to the occasion.
"Jamie and Patrick will be well prepared for their semi finals at the National Stadium, that's the important thing, It will be a very tough fight for Jamie, no doubt about it. But if you want to be the best you have to beat the best in this game.
"The lads are are looking forward to getting in the ring at the National Stadium. They've trained very hard for the semi finals and I've no doubt that they will represent their club with pride in Dublin."
