Ulster's finest will be to the fore when the National U/21 Championships finals get underway at the National Stadium in Dublin this Friday evening.
The weekend's 17 bout card will feature three all Belfast deciders between John Meli and Anthony Upton, Patrick Gallagher and Sonny Upton and Mark O'Hara and Tyrone McKenna.
Belfast's Holy Trinity BC, under coaches Mickey Hawkins - who was Irish coach at the Seoul Olympics - and Peter Brady, will have three boxers vying for honours courtesy of O'Hara, ex senior finalist  Ruairi Dalton and David Walsh at middleweight.
Looking ahead to the finals Hawkins acknowledged that it would be a busy night.
He said: "It's one of those Championships where we could lose the three finals or win the three finals and obviously we will be trying to win them. The lads have trained very hard for this and they can't wait to get in the ring."

Walsh is facing a tough task against defending champion Stephen O'Reilly in yet another all Ulster showdown.
O'Reilly, of the Twintowns club in Donegal,  has recorded two inside the distance wins so far and also a 13-3 semi final victory over John Tighe,
Meanwhile, Belfast's Holy Family club in Belfast will also have three boxers involved in the finals, while the Olympic club in Galway, and the St Anne's in Mayo will have two boxers apiece competing at IABA headquarters.
Dublin's clubs are also in the mix as the Crumlin, Mount Tallant and Drimnagh BC's  all have representatives between the ropes at the South Circular Road venue.
The Tallant club BC will be represented by Paddy McDonnell, who takes on Cork cruiserweight Patrick O'Shea.
O'Shea, a 20 year old Irish army private who boxes out of the Sunnyside club,  came out on top in last Friday's 85Kg final with Ciaran O'Griofa.
And ex Irish Olympian Kieran Joyce, who had Mickey Hawkins working his corner at the Seoul Olympics, said that they were anticipating another tough task on Friday.
"Patrick boxed very well in the semi finals and we were delighted with his performance. We were also very pleased with Jamie Long's performance in the semi finalsas he is just 17 years old. Patrick is eagerly looking forward to Friday's final and he has taken a lot of confidence from his semi final victory."
Boxing begins at 7pm on Friday evening. The weigh-in will be held between 8.30am and 9.30am and 12 noon and 1pm at the National Stadium.
Thirteen male finals and four females finals will be decided.
